About EU Biz Tools
eubiztools.com publishes free calculators and document generators for people running a business or freelancing in the European Union.
What we make
There are 10 tools, covering VAT, invoicing, salary, contracts, late payment, GDPR and company naming. Every one of them runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type is sent to us or stored on a server. Alongside them we publish guides explaining the rules the tools apply.
How the numbers are sourced
Tax and social contribution rates come from official publications — national tax authorities, statutory instruments, and the EU’s own documentation — and each figure is recorded against the source it came from, with the date it was checked.
Where a tool models a country properly, it says so and shows the source. Where it does not, it says that too. The salary calculator, for example, has a full statutory model for Germany and France and labels the remaining countries as estimates, because presenting an estimate as a computation would be worse than admitting the gap.
What we get wrong
Rules change, and a site of this size will always contain something out of date. When we find an error we correct it and say what changed rather than quietly editing the number. If you spot one, please tell us — corrections from readers are the fastest way this gets better.
None of it is legal, tax or financial advice. See our Terms of Use for the full position.
How it is funded
The tools are free and we intend to keep them that way. The site is supported by display advertising. Advertising never influences what the calculators return, and we do not take payment for favourable treatment in any guide or comparison.
